Hi everyone, here
i welcome you all with my good stuff. Nowadays our kids are too
unique and they are expecting everything to be different from their
circle. So they love to open their lunch box with surprisingly new
dishes which make others to feel curious. As a mom, we have to make
them satisfied in a healthy way. I have introduced few quick
preparing recipes with the major ingredients, which our kids avoid to
have usually. Please make a try with these following recipes and
pack lunch boxes.
POTATO EGG RICE
INGREDIENTS
1 potato
1 egg
Curry leaves
½ tsp turmeric
powder
1 ½ tsp chilli
powder
½ tsp cumin
seeds
100 gm cooked
rice
3 tsp cooking oil
Salt
Cooked rice
PREPARATION
Heat kadai and
add 2 tsp of oil
When oil gets
heated add cumin seeds and curry leaves
Now add finely
chopped potato. Let it be cooked.
Once potato gets
cooked add eggs and to that add turmeric powder, chilly powder(pepper
can also used instead of chilli powder), salt as for your kids taste.
Mix well everything by adding 1tsp of oil
Now take it off
from stove and keep aside for some 5 min. Later add cooked rice n mix
it.
CARROT RICE
INGRIDIENTS
1 Onion
1 carrot
Curry leaves
1/4tsp mustard
seeds
1/4tsp urad dal
2 dry chillies
2 tsp oil
salt
100g Cooked rice
PREPARATION
Heat a kadai and
add oil to it. Then add mustard seeds and urad dal
Now add curry
leaves, dry chillies and fry it
After add chopped
onions till it turns to golden brown
Then add grated
carrot, allow it to be half cooked
Now add salt, mix
all together and add cooked rice
Mix well and your
quick lunch is ready to pack
LADY FINGER PEPPER RICE
INGREDIENTS
100g lady finger
1 onion
2 tsp curd
4 tsp oil
¼ tsp Cumin
seeds
2 ½ tsp pepper
powder
¼ tsp turmeric
powder
Salt
Cooked rice
PREPARATION
Switch on the
stove. Place a kadai and add oil
Once oil gets
heated add cumin seeds,chopped onions and fry them
Then add thinly
sliced lady finger, toast it and add 2 tsp of curd in that.
After few minutes
add turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder and mix up
Keep in low flame
allow it to cook slowely
Once lady fingers
came out of its sticky texture , then your dish is ready to take out
from stove
Now add cooked
rice and mix well. I am sure your kids will love it to have for their
break
BRINJAL RICE
INGREDIENTS
2 brinjals
1 onion
150 ml coconut
milk
3 tsp gingelly
oil
¼ tsp turmeric
powder
1 ½ tsp chilly
powder
¼ tsp cumin
seeds
Curry leaves
Salt
100g cooked rice
PREPARATION
Heat a kadai and
add oil. Once it gets heat add your cumin seeds,curry leaves, chopped
onions and fry up
Now add thinly
sliced brinjals and toast it for few seconds
Then add salt and
turmeric powder
Once the brinjal
skin colour changes add chilly powder and mix well
After few minutes
add coconut milk and close it by a lid. Cook in a low flame.
After 5 minutes
remove the lid and mix well until it becomes dry
Now the dish is
ready to mix with cooked rice and to pack
GROUNDNUT COCONUT RICE
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup grated
coconut
¼ cup roughly
grinded fried groundnut
2 green chillies
Curry leaves
2 tsp oil
¼ tsp mustard
seeds
¼ tsp urad dal
Salt
100g cooked rice
PREPARATION
Heat oil in a
kadai and add mustard seeds,urad dal, curry leaves and sliced green
chillies
Then add grated
coconut and roughly grinded groundnut powder ,salt and fry them
together well.
Colour of the
coconut should not be changed. So carefully fry it in a low flame
It will cook in
few minutes. Once it gets cooked allow it to cool and mix well wth
cooked rice
Very interesting
and healthy lunch is ready now
