Extraction of breast milk
1. Firstly wash your hands with soap and water or clean with sanitizer.
2. Extract milk using breast-pump
Sterilization of articles
Sterilize the collecting bottle, breast pump, feeding bottle. To sterilize, first wash the articles with dish washer and boil in a large bowl containing water.
Storage of milk
1. Milk should be collected in glass bottle or in air tight container which is BPA- Free.
2. It can be stored under room temperature for about four hours.
3. In deep freezer can be stored till12 months.

How to use stored milk?
Milk stored in room temperature can be gently warmed under running warm water.
Milk placed in deep freezer should be shifted to refrigerator 12 hours before use and that should be kept under running warm water just for few minutes till milk gets warm. Once the milk is warmed it should be used completely. Any left out milk should not be reused.
Milk should never boil directly.
