TamilNadu is an enchanting place that is sure to leave you spell bound with its magnificent architecture, rich culture and exotic places.
1. Brihadeshwara Temple – Tanjore
    This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. Erected by Raja Raja Chola. It is believed that the kalasha is made out of single stone carving.

2. Kapaleeswara Temple – Chennai
Constructed in 7th Century, devoted to Lord Shiva. Legends say that Shakti prayed to Lord Shiva in the form of a peacock. This temple is located by the sea which is a major plus.

3. Meenakshi Amman Temple – Madurai
It is dedicated to Goddess Menakshi or Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva. This temple is featured in the list of 30 nominees for the “Seven Wonders of the world

4. Natraja Temple – Chidambaram
The presiding deity in this Temple is Lord Chidambaram. It justifies the rich Dravidian style of architecture.

Mahabaliburam of TN is a historic town.

6. Arunachaleshwar Temple – Tiruvannamalai
Sri Arunachaleshwar is the presiding God of the temple. God is in the form of Fire. The main feature of this temple is the celebration of the Karthigai Deepam Festival.

7. Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple – Kanchipuram
It was built in dedication to the God Shiva in the 7th Century. It’s the oldest structure in Kanchipuram

8. Ramanathaswamy Temple – Rameshwaram
This 12th century temple boasts the longest corridor among all India’s Hindu temples. It is the stunning temple, with Corridors running in total over 3000 feet make this complex site to visit.

9. Gangai Konda Cholapuram – Kumbakonam
This temple reflects the power and prestige of the Chola Empire between 11th and 13th Centuries. This temple would definitely regret not exploring.

10. Sri Ranganatha Temple – Srirangam, Trichy.
It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is the largest temple in India and its gopuram measuring 72 M, is the highest of its kind in the world. Trichy is an important place of pilgrimage for worshippers of Lord Vishnu.
