  1. Shringeri Sharadha peeta : Shrigeri Sharadha temple was built for the Shri chakra carved by Shri Adhi Shankaracharya himself. A Golden idol of Sharadha Matha is installed on this Shri chakra.
Apart from this temple this place includes many other temples like Shankaracharya temple, Torana ganapathi temple and Mallikarjuna temple etc.

  1. Hanuman Gundi falls Chikkamagalur: This beautiful waterfall is located in Khudremukh national park Chikkamaglur district. The hush green nature, hills surrounds this 100ft waterfall. This should be accessed by steps.

  1. Kalaseshwara temple kalasa : On the bank of Bhadra river situated this beautiful temple in a place called Kalasa in Mudigere Taluk of Chikkamaglur dist. Kalasa is also known for its panchatheertha.


  1. Annapoorneshwari temple Hornadu : Annapoorneshwari temple located just 8 km away from kalasa. The Malnadu beauty and the powerful god attract more and more pilgrims every day. Every visitor to this temple provided with delicious food every day without questioning their whereabouts.

  1. Kudhremukha national park : If you want to worship just the nature then this is one of the best place to be in. The nature soothes your tired mind and relaxes your soul. The name Khudremukha came from the resemblance of the mountain peak to the horse’s face. The trekking in this well established routes to the peak leads the origin of three rivers Thunga, bhadra and Nethravathi.

  1. Agumbe sun set : Agumbe is the highest peak of western ghats, it also receives highest rain fall after Cheerapunji. It is very famous for its sunset point. On a clear day one can witness the orange sun sinking in the Arabian Sea, from the top of the mountain. During the rainy season many waterfall come alive in this mountain.

  1. Seetha falls Hebri (Seetha nature camp) : This is one of the less known but very beautiful waterfall in Karnataka. Hebri is a small town near Agumbe. This waterfall resides deep in the forest. Almost 2 KM of walk is a must to reach this place. White water rafting is one of the adventure sport you can have in this place. Sita nature camp arranges rafting facility with trained guides.

  1. Udupi Krishna temple : Udupi Shri Krishna temple is one of the most famous temple in India. Instead of facing the main door the Idol has turned to the other side. The darshan has to be obtained through a small window called “Kanakan Kindi”. Janmashtami is celebrated in great manner in this city. The Pooja and offerings to god starts at 5am in the morning and it continues thought the day.

  1. Malpe beach : Malpe is a small town near Udupi which is a natural port and very famous as a fishing hub. The malpe is famous for its scenic beach.
Also a very famous St. Mary’s rocky Island is very close to this place. St. Mary’s Island is a unavoidable must visit spot if you have half day time to spend.

  1. Kaup light house : Kaup or Kapu is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mangalore – Udupi region. It attracts tourists because of its very old fully operational light house. From this light house a great view of the beach and surrounded lush green is visible.
